Silence is at the heart of meditation.

Sometimes however, it brings us to face boredom through inactivity or anxiety through thoughts that are overwhelming, and prevents us from reaching inner calm.

Using a step-by-step process, Danis Bois enables participants to experience the beneficial effects of silence and to make it a place full of discoveries.

Silence is not just an absence of noise, but it is a place where you connect with your depth, with yourself, and it allows you an introspection and to contemplate. It is also a way of being, a way of stepping back. It is a channel, a channel of transmission between us all.

And through silence we discover phenomena that are invisible, not just inaudible

Each meditation begins by establishing conditions conducive to silence as: “Before we learn from the silence, we are going to learn to settle into silence.”

It is then time to explore the various aspects of silence and discover its secrets.

Chosen extracts:

Two minutes of silence are enough to slow the heart, to lower our heartbeat, to lower stress and to refresh, as we bathe in this silence that we need so much, to regain our strength and a calm mind. Appreciate this ! Love the silence.

Then, silence is not just an absence of noise, of the noises coming from outside, it is an atmosphere, an atmosphere of calm in your inner world and also in your mind.

There is always within us a place of silence as there is always the sun behind the clouds.

And the feeling that you experience then is stability and solidity.

The emotion that you feel gives color to this life that is moving through your life.

Listen with your inner sense, listen with your matter.

The encounter between this silent animation and your welcoming matter gives rise to a new type of awareness, an awareness that comes from within, that comes from you.

And everything is silent: your mind is silent, your motionless posture is silent, the organs of your body are silent.

Even your breath is at its lowest to preserve this silence. The gliding of this lava deep within is silent, the presence of the group is silent, and the presence of the skies is silent.

Even time slows, slows down and also becomes silent.

And you, you are in the first row, you who are experiencing this silence, you who are observing what you are experiencing, and little by little the observer and the experiencer merge without losing their identity. You are at the same time feeling and observing, in the way the movement is at the same time motionless and in motion.

And it may be possible to distance ourselves from our problems, in the same way as it is possible to distance ourselves from the external noise.
