Welcome to you platform for 8 weeks

This program is for people who wish to

  • learn to meditate to benefit as much as possible from the physical, psychological, existential and spiritual effects of this practice.
  • improve their self-confidence, the opinion they hold of themselves and the ability to love themselves.
  • improve their relationships in their personal, family or professional surroundings, by developing well-meaning attitudes from a place of authentic self-presence.

The participant’s handbook

For further orientation you can use your Participant’s handbook for the Program for Optimizing Self-Esteem and Benevolence, and Anxiety Management (POSBAM)

Organization of each week

Each week has a central theme. During that week the meditations you will work on turn around the capacities of that specific topic.

  • The first day of the week, (e.g. every Thursday) you will receive a meditation to do for 3 days.
  • On the 4th day, (e.g. every Saturday) you will receive the next meditation, and do it for 3 days as well.
  • On the seventh day of each week, (e.g. Wednesdays) you will practice a silent meditation and fill in your experience journal right after.

Every last day of each week, your personal Experience Journal is also sent to your by your facilitator.

In the section “Internalized movement exercise”, you will have access to videos of verbally guided movement practices. These you can carry out in addition to meditations (best right after meditation). You can do these exercises as often as you wish at a time of your choosing. The objective of this movement practice is to activate your body awareness, to enrich your perceptual capacities and to enhance your experience of your meditations.

In the “To know more” section, you will find weekly content that will help you to better understand the conceptual background of the weekly themes in meditation and its challenges. Depending on your disposition, you are free to listen to this extra content either before or after meditation.

Your program facilitator will contact you regarding the weekly group meetings, which take place either face-to-face or online.
